Show Hope, founded by Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman, exists to care for orphans by engaging the church and enabling them to better serve kids who have experienced trauma, foster kids and adoptive families. It is designed for foster and adoptive families, teachers, pastors, ministry leaders, social workers, case workers, or anyone who may come in contact with and have the opportunity to support kids and families in need due to trauma related behaviors.
Through proven, trusted content, Hope for the Journey explores the fundamentals of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) across five sessions. The principles of TBRI guide attendees to a better understanding of their child or teen’s needs and equips them to adequately meet those needs.
The last session of the day, The Gospel + TBRI, unpacks how the TBRI principles are tangible expressions of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It offers parents, caregivers, church leaders, and professionals a better understanding of practical opportunities to live out their faith in their homes and communities.
This workshop will be offered free to anyone in our community.
