Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
Please return your boxes to church by Sunday, November 24.
Ken Caryl Church has been participating in the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry for years. Our children enrolled in TeamKID will receive a service award for their involvement in packing a shoebox.
The shoeboxes that we pack will be taken to the OCC distribution center in Denver. There, volunteers check the boxes for appropriate contents and they are shipped out to children around the world. In addition to the shoeboxes, the children receive the Good News of Jesus through gospel materials entitled The Greatest Journey!
To participate:
- Take as many shoeboxes as you plan to fill. See the additional information enclosed on ideas for your boxes.
- Once your boxes are filled and ready, attach to the outside of the box, the shoebox label marking the age/gender appropriate for your box.
- Place a check made out for $10 on the top of your box, inside, that will cover shipping of the box. Make your check out to: Operation Christmas Child
- Bring your boxes to the church by Sunday, November 24, 2024 when we will pray over them and each child that will receive one.
- For kids in TeamKID, let Ms. Sandy know when you have brought your shoeboxes to church, so you get credit towards your service award!
- Please place the KCC label on the box. Samaritan’s Purse allots boxes for next year based on how many were received.
Thank you for sharing the good news of Jesus through this incredible shoebox ministry. This is a wonderful way for your family to participate in ministry together.
