Hey church family – join us for Together in July Sundays!

When will this be taking place and at what time and where?

It will take place each Sunday in July (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th) at 9am in the Fellowship Hall. Breakfast will even be available each Sunday.

Who is this for?

Everyone! All ages! After we take time to eat breakfast together the kids (birth-5th grade) will go with Sandy for a kid-specific time. Students and adults will stay together in the Fellowship Hall.

Why are we doing this?

You are aware of the five values we have as a church: Welcoming (we want you to be here), Community (we build genuine relationships), Multigenerational (we engage all generations), Discipleship (we equip you with the message of Jesus), and Biblical Authority (we submit our lives to the Bible). This will be a welcoming environment that allows us to build community among the different generations in the church so that we are equipped with the message of Jesus together as we all seek to submit ourselves to the truths of Scripture. Plus, it is fun when we are all together in a different environment as it gives us the chance to know one another better. There will be aspects of this that feel like a small group, which is also a priority for us.

What are we going to do while we are together?

I’m still finalizing the teaching details and will share more of that with you next week. We plan to have fun through some interactive games/contests. It is always good when we are able to laugh together. We want to observe what the Lord is doing through the church and celebrate. We want to learn together. We want to discuss with others what we are learning. We want to pray.

What if this isn’t my kind of thing? I mean, I like my regular Life Group.

We are hoping you will be willing to make this your thing for the month of July! We are glad you like your Life Group, but please don’t skip out for the entire month. Just trust that being together with others in the church that you might not know quite as well in a small group environment will be good for everyone.
